Just wondering. The Glen Rose 4b board made an *investment* of $80,000 bucks to Land of the Dinosaurs last year. To my knowledge, no one on the 4b board has asked for an accounting FROM Land of the Dinosaurs about how well their *investment* is doing. You know, stuff like "How many people came, how much did you spend, how much profit did you make" etc.
Of course, there was also some dispute from the auditor that the 4b board hired, who said, Oh, No, You CAN'T make an investment, it MUST be a promissiory note to be paid back.
I also heard that a certain person who, up until recently, wore two hats of the 4b and the Chamber, may also be an investor in Land of the Dinosaurs, needs to be verified. Anyone know EXACTLY who the investors are as of this date?
I looked to see if the LOTD was even playing ANYWHERE and the website hasn't been updated with info about 2011, so I'm guessing it's defunct or in hibernation or something. When I called the number for the boxoffice I got an error recording that said "Sorry this mailbox is full and cannot accept any more calls". I have to assume, and can be corrected, that LOD is an abandoned ship.
So what happens to the 4b investment? Will the 4b ask for it back? Or is it just more money gone down the drain?
