For me, I quit going to that site a couple of years ago (and studiously avoided any sites that even LOOKED like or incorporated the name as a Me Too kind of site). Here's what I said in a podcast at the time.
I'm also not a fan of what I would call Circular Pat-Me-On-The-Back groups that have secret boards, decide en masse what their position is, and who put out weekly lists, lemming style of the same dang links, decided on usually courtesy of one person. I'm sure that kind of thing probably helps drive up traffic amongst themselves, but I prefer to read what I want to read because I like the site and not because they decide to Group-Think together.
Reminds me while I'm at it that I got an email from an environmental group that has a position on the comanche peak nuclear reactors that they support them, but just not the engineering design. I don't agree with that position. I am against having the nuclear reactors here at all and I think it's not practical, when Luminant, Mitsubishi and NRC are trying to fast track the approval of this as yet-untested design, that they would even consider going back to the drawing board. So I guess I will have to think about whether I want to be affiliated with a group whose position on the reactors I so drastically disagree with.
