I really like his vision. I was struck by the part about walkable, bicycle friendly communities. He seems to be a populist, eh?

 I think his ideas are populist, however common sense is at work here, too, I think. I'd love to live in a country where local farms thrived (instead of agri-business), where the tax structure was conducive to small businesses like mine, where the goals of its citizens were less materialistic and more in tune with the health of the whole system. We have lost a lot along the way in terms of community. People have become so disconnected. This has not been a good thing.

I do believe his opinion of Wall Street is quite insightful. Maybe Wall Street, like ideology, has become obsolete, too. It seems to be devouring itself, doesn't it? Fine by me. All it has done with my money is throw it away.
