No, not talking about those ubiquitous, annoying spam emails that breathlessly want to tell you Obama's a muslim or that all the guns in the US are going to be taken away.

I'm talking about where somebody emails you and tells you that somebody died or there's a reunion or some other newsy event that presumably, if you had any idea who the person was, if he or she was a friend or if he or she was related, you'd be happy (or sad) to hear. I have gotten several like that in the last few days. One was for someone who died and I have no idea who the person is. I looked at the other emails in the To line and I don't recognize any of them.

I think maybe the person sent out the news that this person died to the entire email distribution list the person had.
