I remember reading the story a very long time ago, and enjoying it as a highly interesting morality play involving character.  At least 3 of the people who were in *Rome* were in this-Ciaran Hinds, James Purefoy and Polly Walker. Also Jodhi May, who played Elizabeth Jane, I saw recently in The Other Boleyn Girl. The production was beautifully, hauntingly done, and the acting was superior. I may go back and watch this one again sometime.
