Audio-About that Initial 75 Cent Valuation on Glen Rose Hospital District Petition

2 audio chunks spliced together. One is from the end of the Nov 10 Somervell County Commissioner's Court meeting where they discussed putting the petition to form a hospital district on the ballot, which was followed by William Lee of Pinnacle talking about why so much. Initially, Gary Marks wanted 75 cents per 1000 valuation for the hospital district. After this protest, the petition was changed to cap 10 cents. The second short snip is from the public hearing which was called off on Nov 17 2008. The petition was withdrawn because of the outcry about the initial 75 cents.

Just thought I'd remind that when first the district was being pushed in 2009, Gary Marks went for the HIGHEST tax rate. Jerry Lee was the ONLY one that showed up to the hearing at the commissioners court to protest it. THANK YOU!
