In March 2007, Reyna introduced Gray at a Republican fundraiser in Somervell County by calling him a good friend, according to the commission's admonition.
"Really, we are not friends," Gray said when he took the podium, according to the document. "He's never been in my home. I've never been in his home. And furthermore, every time there's a close vote on the court, he always votes with Bill Vance."
Gray told others at Republican dinners that Reyna wasn't "being a good Republican," according to the document. When asked about such complaints, Gray told the commission that he was responding to people's questions, according to the document.
