Loved both movies. I thoroughly enjoyed the premise of Burn After Reading, which I won't detail here because it would spoil it for you if you haven't seen. Brad Pitt plays a great moronic character. I stopped liking him after I found out he filed his teeth for "Fight Club" and then he put another nail in that coffin by marrying crazy Angelina "I kiss my brother and wear vials of blood around my neck" Jolie, who needs to get hence to Babies Anonymous before she adopts or pops out any more children. But I liked him here-he should play morons more often. On Hamlet 2-Suppose you knew you were going to see a movie in which Zeus was being made fun of, in an irreverent and raucuos way. You might go watch, right? Now imagine instead of Zeus it's Jesus. The movie was hilar and rarely flagged for comedy. We then watched, for the umpteenth time, The Big Lebowski. Seems like it has been a week of watching our favorite movies. Again. Here's a short list of the ones we can watch over and over and don't seem to get tired of. (although I can wait 6 months to a year to watch them... AGAIN). - Lord of the Rings Trilogy
- Swingers
- Night at the Roxbury
- Get Over It - Incidentally, I think this movie has been way underrated and relegated also to a movie only for teens. Well, except that I like watching teen genre movies. I wasn't going to watch it again because we watched it last month but hub put it in and I heard that opening bit "Love Will Keep Us Together" and was sucked in again. The breakup bit with the song on the street is so well done and totally hilarious.
