Some would say that the last thing Americans need is another Kennedy in politics.

 

In this instance, they probably are correct.

Ms. Kennedy's now infamous "You know's" throughout her sentence structure underscores the questioning of whether former President John F. Kennedy's daughter should replace New York Senator Hillary Clinton.  In fact, it gets increasingly more difficult to accept the fact that Ms. Kennedy is a successful attorney.

 

Americans should consider letting go of the Kennedy/Clinton dynasties.  These families have not been good for our social, economic and political structures.  Seldom have family dynasties been good for us, as also may be noted by the recent Bush dynasty.  Still, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is considering a 2012 run for the presidency.

 

Be that as it may, Caroline Kennedy has no political resume and now is not the time to start one.  The majority democratic state of New York should consider a candidate more suited to be the next senator.
