Boy, I do NOT agree with what the Families of Flight 93 are trying to do. Just because somebody dies on a particular piece of land, it's okay to ask the president to SEIZE that land so that some other group can make a memorial on it?
There's a memorial here in town across from the Sonic. It's going to be moved to Heritage Park because it sits on private land. By the principle above, the heirs of the soldier who died ought to write Bush and tell him to take that land away from the man who owns it.
Or, you know all those little flower displays on the sides of roads where somebody dies in a traffic accident. By the principle above, the families of those killed ought to be able to ask the president to seize the property adjoining the highway so that they can make a permanent memorial.
The company that doesn't want to sell the land ought not to be made villains; and the group is in the WRONG to want to seize that land.
