From one of Somervell County Salon's regular readers, NOPoser, who sent along some links about a picture of Jesus that was on the wall of the Slidell, Louisiana city court.
I had thought that Jesus was next to Octavian, but I may be off on that:

I really should demand a photo of the Dalai Lama.
I looked up a bit about this. Seems that there had been this picture of Jesus, sans other historical figures, hanging on the wall. The ACLU sued after the city refused to take the picture down, and then bingo, up popped some other pictures after the lawsuit was filed. To no avail.
Judge Ivan Lemelle said the original display of the picture was unconstitutional, though the ACLU, which backed the suit, said it was altered late in 2007 to include other historical pictures.
In a written opinion, Lemelle indicated that the altered display was able to stay.
“Plaintiffs’ primary purpose of altering or dismantling the display was achieved through the Defendants’ alteration of the display after the lawsuit was filed,” he wrote.
ACLU Executive Director Marjorie R. Esman said the organization took the case “supporting the American ideal that Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, atheists, agnostics – everyone should feel that our legal system is here to protect them.”
And that last is the bottom line.
