The hearing that will be set up is ONLY to set up a date to okay a date for an election, is NOT a town hall type format to find out what the hospital district is for, what the taxes will be, why we need one, etc. In other words, if you go to the hearing on Dec 15 at 9:30 am, you'll be there to HEAR about the date being set and not to find out or ask anything about what the fool it is about. Gary Marks said he would be hosting at least 2 open town hall meetings about the hospital district at the citizens center before the February 14th election. I guess that means that there is a window of time to get informed AFTER the date for the election is set on the calendar to find out whether you want to vote for this or not.
