We suspected this would happen when we attended the school board meeting a few weeks ago and found that they don't have to specifically cast a vote against letting Ogletree be a formal volunteer for the district. As one of the other blog posters here pointed out, the effect of doing this is blacklisting a teacher who is not convicted of any crime. I personally think it doesn't show much character to not at least stand up for your position by taking a vote and going on record... but given the history of this travesty, I'm not surprised.

P.S. There IS a public comment section at the board meeting. If you believe that Ogletree needs to be spoken up for, go sign up to speak on that night.
