I'm always kind of fascinated by who owns what. Remember how the Glen Rose Reporter was bought out about a year or so ago by Australian company Macquarie Media Group that bought up American Consolidated Media? That was at that point run by a guy who had been CEO of that group (Jeremy Halbreich) but stepped down in August of 2008? I read today, from an article in October, that Macquarie has picked their new CEO, Randy Cope, that was former CEO  Co-President and Co-COO of Gatehouse Media. I wondered about what kind of company Gatehouse Media is, and the answer is that it's a big behemoth company itself that does local content.Take a look at this list of publications.

So it looks to me that the guy who was running THAT company was brought in for his expertise for ACM, based on the same model of a big ole company doing a whole bunch of local papers and online media.
