I went to Stephenville today for some stuff and noticed that, whereas the last time I was heading west on 67, you couldn't really see the equipment or the hill being cleared, you can now. I was happy to see the Save Chalk Mountain signs on the properites nearby. Wonder if TCEQ will have a hearing?

I also noticed that Erath County is getting more and more gutted in the area around where that dairy used to be. Right around there I saw a big truck going down a very dutsy chalky road and there was a hill in process of being gutted. Saw a couple other ones as well. Hard to imagine if the landscape just becomes flat level.
