There's no doubt in my mind that Sarah Palin has her 'eyes on the prize'. She already despises her running mate, McCain. She has her plan and she believes she can. Just what any American sees in her, besides pure, blind ambition, is beyond me.
They say she is attractive, but all I see is coldness, insensitivity, and a radically narrow and ignorant perspective that will never bring to our country that which we need.
They say she is the 'most popular Republican'. This is disturbing.
They say she is a gifted politician, but what good is this without soulfulness?
I've never been drawn to the Republican Party, but I do remember a day when they had some integrity and substance. I don't perceive the Democrats as being some kind of saviors, but voting for Barack Obama was, for me, the most exhilarating vote I ever cast.
It is up to us, the citizens, to hold our government accountable, to demand they do the work.
