Occupation: Associate chemistry professor, Baylor University

Worth noting: Signed the Discovery Institute's 'A Scientific Dissent from Darwinism' statement.

Stephen Meyer

Education: Ph.D. in history and philosophy of science, Cambridge University, 1991

Occupation: Vice president of the Seattle-based Discovery Institute, a think tank devoted to challenging aspects of evolutionary theory; director of the institute's Center for Science and Culture

Worth noting: Founder of the institute and the center; co-authored 'Darwinism, Design, and Public Education' and 'Science and Evidence for Design in the Universe'; testified in evolution hearings called by the Kansas State Board of Education.
