Let's say that this is all perfectly innocent, that, whoopsie, a John Birch society magazine ended up on her desk, randomly, as a passout to everybody and their dog at Wasilla city council. DOESN'T THE FACT THAT SHE ALLOWED A PICTURE OF HERSELF TO BE TAKEN WITH A JOHN BIRCH SOCIETY MAGAZINE SPEAK VOLUMES ABOUT HER LACK OF JUDGMENT?

I just don't believe it. The woman was and is a publicity hound. Who in their right mind wouldn't make sure that any photos would include ONLY those elements that he or she wanted to be recorded for posterity? She clearly didn't mind that she was photographed with a John Birch society magazine. And she clearly didn't mind that, in her RNC speech, she quoted Westbrook Pegler, who used to write for that magazine but was so far right of it that THEY KICKED HIM OUT. For Anti-semitism.
