It has taken the complete mismanagement of the national affairs by Republicans to turn a 'capitalist' country into a 'socialist' country, that which the Republicans and conservatives despise. If you take a look at the new rules today on wall street, you will note that short selling of financial institutions has halted...so much for a free market. You will also note that the government has provided 200 billion in bailouts for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, 85 billion in a bailout package for a non-government entity called AIG, and this morning announce that they are guaranteeing (using more of our tax dollars) the nations money market funds.

The conservative thought process used to be that everyone get's an open market and let the chips fall where they may. Now the thought process is screw everyone as bad as you can and use the government money to bail it out. The government money has become a credit card for taking care of the short-sided thought processes of it's leaders and to enrich those who are well connected and well financed like Halliburton. John McCain wants to extend the $12 billion a month Iraq war by BORROWING money, does this sound fiscally conservative?

So I say to all the Republicans out there...blame not the liberals for a socialist society, blame your own incompetent Republican leaders who keep pushing our country down the road to socialistic tendencies.
