(In fact, I need to renew my subscription! ) Looks like the new reporter, Whitnesy White-Ashley (love those hyphenated names)  for the paper is really on the ball. The link to their website is at http://theglenrosereporter.com -I'd link to the articles from this paper but they're not up yet on their site. (If I remember, I'll edit this in a few days with links so that you, the eager reader, can go look at the local newspaper online.)

GRISD is academically acceptable according to new TEA ratings just out.

Nice article and pic of the Tigers football team, as well as the band director Ray Portillo, and 2 kids from the band, Carrie Evans and Ray Garcia.

Funny pic of some guy from Hico that met a woman named Kim from Glen Rose and put his boat out by Dino Rider.

Science teacher Doug Ogletree was chosen as one of only nine science teachers in Texas to attend a Summer Workshop for high school science educators, place at MD Anderson in Houston.

Obituary of Bill Leon West
