Ihave to wonder if it's because it's been so hot around here. I mean, the temperatures the other day were over 105 degrees!  I remember last year there was a training death in the summer, too-Lawrence Sprader; in that case the people in charge tried to cover up the fact that the man was not equipped properly for the heat and had actually called in for help!

FORT HOOD – Post officials released today the name of a 1st Medical Brigade, 13th Sustainment Command soldier who was found dead at a training area on post Tuesday.

Spc. Donald James Scott Jr., 28, of Boyceville, Wisconsin, a biomedical equipment specialist, died from "causes unknown at this time," according to information from Fort Hood's Public Affairs Office.

The incident is under investigation, according to public affairs information.
