Ihave to wonder if it's because it's been so hot around here. I mean, the temperatures the other day were over 105 degrees! I remember last year there was a training death in the summer, too-Lawrence Sprader; in that case the people in charge tried to cover up the fact that the man was not equipped properly for the heat and had actually called in for help! Update: Spc Donald James Scott of Boyceville, WI FORT HOOD – Post officials released today the name of a 1st Medical Brigade, 13th Sustainment Command soldier who was found dead at a training area on post Tuesday.
Spc. Donald James Scott Jr., 28, of Boyceville, Wisconsin, a biomedical equipment specialist, died from "causes unknown at this time," according to information from Fort Hood's Public Affairs Office.
The incident is under investigation, according to public affairs information.
