Heh. Talk about sounding like someone that is PANDERING.

It's not only about giving away a prize to someone who develops a good car battery for electric cars. PEOPLE ALREADY HAVE. How about ask the big car corporation, I don't remember which one, that bought the great battery from that guy showcased in the movie "Who Killed the Electric Car?" Or maybe that big ole corporation will trot out the battery and claim the prize. My point is that car companies have deliberately NOT been advancing electric cars and techologies related to it until it became clear they were losing business to companies that did.
