This is a guaranteed date, and may seem a bit far off, but it won't be delayed or put off, as cases sometimes are.

I also see in the Glen Rose Reporter newspaper that the school board is going to meet in closed session to discuss this. The paper says, in the June 19, 2008 issue.

The board is also scheduled to meet with an attorney regarding a pending lawsuit. The district is being sued by a former teacher.

That would be Joelle Ogletree.

P.S. Traffic has doubled on this site with people going to read about the case. Reminder that there is a lot of factual information from the cases if you click on the icon on the left.  Anyone can have *feelings* one way or the other based on short appearances on a television show, but if you really want the truth, go read the transcripts.

Update to this. The GRISD school board filed for a summary judgement from Judge Wayne Bridwell of the district court; in other words, attempting to prevent this case from coming to court. They succeeded, in that, in the last couple of week, Bridewell dismissed the case, thus making the April date moot. Ogletree is going to appeal that decision, which will again prolong justice.
