I heard yesterday that there are plans to essentially school Obama on how to be the proper presidential wife. Ugh. According to what measure? I already admire her greatly and think she will make a fantastic presidential wife, despite the efforts of the right-wingers to paint her in unflattering ways. C'mon-they would do the same for ANY Democratic candidate's wife, so that's to be expected. I can't say I have followed every single thing Obama has said, but I've listened to a few of her rally speeches on behalf of her husband and she always sounds genuine. Moreover, even if she had a poor background on the south side of Chicago, she is also not only educated now, but has a job that pays her very well. She is NOT a clod that needs to be taught how to speak correctly (Heck, if we were going to, in this country, make sure that only well-spoken people get into high office or associated, we would never had had Bush the Lesser in office). 

Or, who wants another Laura the Lump in the public eye again. She was like eating grits with no salt or flavoring.

Anyway, I like Michelle Obama  as she is and find it refreshing to think we will have someone in office that has a background that isn't typical, at least for MY OWN experience. Don't change her up and squeeze out all that makes her interesting and real.
