So what, now? YOu can't have an opinion on whether veterans should get certain benefits UNLESS YOU WERE IN THE MIILITARY? Ooops. I guess we better go look at the chicken hawks in Congress and tell them to go sit down and stop voting on the war. And not just chicken hawks, but Dick Cheney. And I guess that means I Can Have No Opinion because I did not serve in the military. Because, you know, we don't have freedom of speech in this country where people can speak up about issues EVEN WHEN THEY HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED THEM DIRECTLY.
Pfffttt! Grandpa just needs to shut up. Being tortured in a POW camp doesn't make him MORE FIT to be a president or maybe we need to start looking at people who are imprisoned in Gitmo right now and trotting them out as candidates.
P.S. The link above makes a point, not sure if I agree with it, that McCain is trying to say He is More Of A Man Than Obama because he was in the military. That's ridic, not only because, as I just said, there's a whole lot of MEN who would take umbrage to being smeared in that way, but because the issues of what truly makes a person heroic and adult is NOT military yes or no, but character traits. Such as not lying, like McCain does, when caught doing stupid stuff.
