As I frequently say, I"m a white woman. And a feminist. And I'd like to see a woman as president in the White House. But I don't want Hillary Clinton in the white house-she is NOT a feminist, but an elite rich woman who may understand what it is to fight for something, but that alone doesn't make her the person to be in charge.

Here's what I don't get. Even when I've been really disgruntled (as I frequently am) about Hillary Clinton, I never would have considered voting for McCain. Not Instead of Clinton and Not as a Protest Vote. In fact, it seems almost like Republicans having some fun to have even ONE Democratic woman be quoted as saying that if Hillary Doesn't Win (said to the sound effects of stamping feet) , She will Just Up and Vote for McCain.

Sheesh. What that seems to say is that these women aren't informed enough about McCain's policies (I won't even mention his personal life and what a sleazebag he is). On women alone, he wants to roll back a woman's right to choose. If a woman REALLY is a feminist that believes, demmit, that our bodies are OURS and some man can't go telling us how it should be used, that's #1 Reason to avoid any type of foolish *protest* vote for Gramps. Secondly, he didn't support the Fair Pay Amendment. I heard the other day that not only is there still a pay gap between men and women but it has actually widened in the last year. Again, if you're a feminist and you believe that women haven't gotten a fair shake, you think that voting McCain who obviously doesn't value women (remember, he called his own wife, who is actually his cheating mistress-now-wife) a c***) is going to be okay?

Please don't show people that women are not only bitter but silly by voting Republican.

and next time, let's get a woman who isn't a rich millionairess riding on her husband's coattails in order to create more Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton dynasty to run for office. One who IS a feminist and doesn't just pretend to be one to get votes.
