Gov. Rick Perry Wednesday declared a state of disaster for a dozen Central Texas counties and another 140 counties around the state after a day of destructive wildfires.

Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Hamilton, Hill, Lampasas, Limestone, McCulloch, McLennan, Milam, Mills and San Saba Counties are included in the declaration.
