Part one here. And here's the direct link to the PDF we're referencing.
p 4 PDF- (camp out info) Matt says that Ogletree pulled over to the side of the road, put the car in park, and turned the headlights off and left the car running.
p 5 PDF- Joelle Ogletree on the car.
.. First of all, so far as I knew, my car headlights would not do that. You start the car, the headlights come on. You turn off the car even, and they stay on even for ... I don't know how long... five minutes or something. And that... The first time that Matt said that was at my trial. And I was sitting there going, oh, my goodness. I told my attorney, I said, that is not possible. What he's saying I did, my car doesn't do that. Of course, we never had a chance to go into that. And then because I was so, you know, I guess excited, you might say, about this information that helped prove he wsa lying, I went and I was going to get the manual to my car to prove it. And I was sort of disappointed to find that there is some crazy way to do it. but I certainly didn't know how. My husband didn't know how. And even know, I couldn't tell you. You have to.. I mean, Matt just say I turned off the lights. You had to.. I can't tell you what.. do the parking brakes three times and turn some knob. I'ts something I coudln't even begin to know how to do. Like I say, I didn't even know my car did that, nor did my husband because it never did. When you turnd it on and when you turned it off and the lights are automatic.
p 19 of the PDF -Mr Ogletree on the headlights.
A. It's not possible. I mean, that car when you turned on the ignition, the lights came on. And when you turned off the ignition the actual lights stayed on for a period of time. And we didn't know how to change it, if it was alterable.
Reminds me. Who's seen the movie "My Cousin Vinny"?
On the *I Never* game. p 8 of the PDF p 184 of the transcript describes, from a witness student that not only was the game played in other classes, too, but Ogletree put a stop to inappropriate comments. Another witness (might be the same one, I dont' remember) says Ogletree was the best teacher she had had and if you read p 10 of the PDF you'll see that she truly taught French instead of being the slacker that the boys said she was. Same witness also says on p 12 of the PDF that the boys were *extremely disrespectful* to her. Witness also mentions, p 12 that she had gone to Ogletree's house for a French dinner and it was all females that were there. p 15 again about the I Never game and how it was played in other classes, too. p 40 of the PDF shows that it was Chayce who make sexually inappropriate remarks.
p 25 of the PDF (p 70,71 of the transcript) get into the notes. I'm not going to excerpt that here, you simply have to read the whole thing which goes on to page 37. There's also a part about how Matt changed the dates about when he says he was given the notes. Then read what Ogletree says about what she knows now.
p 42. (and I think this is telling) Matt didn't bring up the allegations about the sex in the car until January of 2003, Guess when Ogletree's lawsuit against the school board was filed... January 2003. p 43 shows that his mom worked for the school board president at that time. The last parts of this have to do with WHY Chayce W would have not fessed up to the truth and discusses his family. It is, of course, Ogletree's opinion.
