Older article in the Dallas Morning News extolls the delights of Fossil Rim's Sunset Safari tour. Good article. 
| What it is: Glen Rose's Fossil Rim Wildlife Center boasts 1,800 acres dotted with endangered and threatened animals, most of which are on display for a face-to-face meet-and-greet during the facility's drive-through self-guided tours. | But few wildlife lovers get a chance to see the critters in an after-dark environment, which is what makes the park's Sunset Safari such a treatWhat it's all about: Several times a year, Fossil Rim presents an evening event that begins with a multicourse dinner in the Safari Camp Pavilion, an off-the-beaten-path glass-walled building with views of one of the park's most popular watering holes. After the meal, diners pile into open-air vans for a guided tour of the grounds. Even if you've seen it all before during the standard 10-mile self-drive, the grounds and the animals look distinctly different when the sun goes down
