I mentioned yesterday that I'm always a little surprised when I hear somebody vehemently argue against any welfare for people living in this country while not batting an eye while his or her taxes go to support, not people, but corporations. If it were that the person was against taxes going for welfare, period, I could understand, if not agree; but why is it that the people who, at least on the surface, seem to want to preserve a lot of their money they earn, aren't hopping mad or at least concerned about that money subsidizing businesses?
