Where Are the Women Bloggers That Comment on Politics? Here's a List

I remember a while back reading on Huffington Post where one of the founders of the Blogher site was upset because Blogher, which was holding a convention at the same time as the kossies, didn't get media attention. Was it because, although it's a blog site, it wasn't run by males and didn't count?

I tend to think that political blog sites in general should get more attention (which is why I like BlogNetNews and LeftyBlogs), whether written by males or females, and not be tied in any fashion to the Wal-Mart of blogs, kos. It's great to see a list compiled of female bloggers, but I have to say I STILL WILL NOT READ CRAP LIKE MICHELLE MALKIN even if she is on the list. Because she's a racist idiot.

Hi. It's Catherine from Informed Voters, I'm the one who started the list of women blogging on politics. I just wanted to say thanks for linking to my site, and I'm happy you are part of the list.

As far as Michelle Malkin is concerned...I didn't really know who she was when I added her to the list (and I haven't read anything she has written). However, even though my blog is primarily left of center...when I began the list I decided that I wanted it to include all women regardless of where they stood on the issues. And that is why when you look at these women and their blogs, you will find everything from far left to far right...and everything in the middle.

Yes, love your list, that it is all the women bloggers regardless of political affiliation. I was not so much commenting on your list as on my feelings about Malkin, etc.
