I was looking over how our Texas Congress voted this last week and noticed that the Senate passed a non-binding proposal to split Iraq in 3 sections (let me guess that Joe Biden was pushing it). What I don't get is why the United States, even though this is, again, NON-binding, is even trying to interfere in their business. Either Iraq's elections counted and they are now a sovereign country that can make up their own mind how to run themselves (and the US needs to get out and let them get to it) or they are NOT and in that case Bush and anyone else that wants to trumpet purple fingers et al need to SHUT UP.
