Remember how strange that case got after Lawrence Sprader died on one of the hottest days around here? And how the cell phone records proved that he wasn't willingly left out in the wilderness on his own. The press conference will be today sometime but I'm betting that someone was negligent and then tried to cover it up after Sprader died.

August 20, 2007)--Fort Hood plans judicial action against one or more military personnel over the death of a soldier who disappeared during a training exercise and was missing for four days before searchers found his body.

A post official announced the decision Monday in the case of Sgt. Lawrence Sprader, who died in June.

III Corps spokeswoman Colonel Diane Battaglia says a recently finished report into the investigation of Sprader's death will be used "for subsequent non-judicial and judicial actions."

Battaglia says actions against one or more soldiers were to begin Monday.
