Here's what I don't get-L3 just announced earnings and their profits are up. Why are we subsidizing corporate welfare for this military-related company? Course they WERE contributors to Chet Edwards campaign.

Two local defense-related companies will be getting a combined $7.3 million under the 2008 Defense Appropriations bill, the office of U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards, D-Waco, announced.
The bill contains $6.3 million added by Edwards for research at L-3 Communications, Waco

Chet Edwards is obviously a member of the Military Industrial Congressional Complex that we were warned about by Eisenhower on his exit speech from office.
