The Constitution of the United States of America was carefully constructed and adopted on September 17, 1787. After much discussion, the writers of our constitution decided to include under Article 2: Executive Power a section 4 entitled, Section 4: Impeachment, which was included because our forefathers believed that even the President must be held accountable to the people of the United States of America.
