Um. South Texas Judge Pleads GUILTY to Tampering with Records.. and is RETURNED TO THE BENCH?

Gee. Shouldn't we have higher standards for the people who JUDGE than this? Oh, right, he and the Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct are probably just following the lead of the US Justice Department, which has zero credility for high standards right now. But, even if Texas and the US don't give a hoot about trying to have the people who JUDGE us at least try to not be corrupt, WE as Texans and US citizens ought to care. Obviously, I don't live in South Texas, near Eagle Pass, but this was a Texas decision-SHAME on the Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct. Shame.
