We may not know where we're heading, but we're certainly on our way.

The way things are going in Washington and throughout the nation neither Republicans nor Democrats deserve winning the 2008 Presidential Election. There are a small handful of responsible and concerned officials in both parties; however, their numbers appear to be the exception rather than the norm.

The latest legislative approval in increased war taxing ensures Americans that our leaders are more focused on enabling corporations to earn revenue on rebuilding Iraq and continuing its special interest profiteering overseas than in resolving to improve the health, employment and financial status of American citizens. We appear stuck in some ongoing political, social and economic glitch, an "endless loop" of spineless and self-serving officials who have lost sight of their responsibility to the people of this nation.

The U. S. is stuck in a vacuum, with no exit in sight.
