I usually watch Mosaic at night, which has compilations of middle eastern television stations about the news of the day. Have I seen much about the gargantuan wall that the United States military is building around Baghdad on television here? Nope. I guess it would damage what little reputation the US has left in the United States for our citizens to see what we're doing. Anyway, I clipped a few of the pieces from the last week or so. Notice that at one point, there were apparently plans to stop building the wall! Was that a lie told to the Iraqi citizens or was it overridden by Crazy Unca Dick showing up to threaten the Iraqis of cutting off their money if they don't wall off the city? Also, and this is really important, notice that at least on one of the soldiers that has died recently was killed BECAUSE HE WAS WORKING ON THE WALL.
