Does it not seem WILDLY inappropriate to anyone else in our SD 22 for a Texas SENATOR to be arranging meetings that would strive to convince officials that coal-fired plants are good? Can it really be that the City of Waco, McLennan County officials and the Waco Chamber of Commerce can't figure out on their own how to contact TXU if they want to be persuaded that they should build a so-called *clean* coal plant in the area? Is having Averitt act as the middleman to help broker a deal an appropriate use of our taxdollars that pay his salary? I don't think so.
