I wanted a way not only to easily find bills (the Texas Legislature website is THE BEST!) but also to be able to comment on the bills or authors however I want.. and then find those comments related on particular bills. Some of the comments may be snark and some be serious and I invite anyone that wants to join in commenting to do so as well. I just finished putting in a rudimentary registration and login system on this blog for you to do so-new posts and posters will have to have comments approved, but then, if it's not spam, posts after that will be automatically posted. I disabled comments a long time ago on this blog because I got a ton of spam every single dang day and I got tired of it-but I also didn't like having to approve every single post-this new system is a mid-way point between them.

This is a work in progress so some stuff may not be entirely fleshed in or up to date yet. I'm going to work on it some more over the weekend.
