So here we are again...another holiday season and people have to start the fight "holiday" or "christmas". I'm sure the talking heads will start up with the rhetoric again soon. Wal-Mart...being the corporation that is a monopoly in the US (or should be) knows how to make a buck...so they are taking a page from the GOP playbook. How? Well they are using things to cater to the largest growing consumer market...fundamental christians. They found that if they use things around the holidays like "Merry Christmas" they could entice a percentage of these people to come in and spend some of their cash. Not that Wal-Mart gives a crap about what holiday it is or whether jesus is even real or not...as long as they understand what it is that they have to say to get people to believe they care so you are spending your money in their stores. If you ever doubt this then listen to what the people who run Wal-Mart say...its all about the shareholders!!
