This sets wrong with me. Yes, I know that companies need to have "clinical trials" of their health care products and thus they needs, uh, PEOPLE, to test their stuff on. And I'm sure, as the consultant in this article points out, the way to do it is to appeal to business "self-interest" to make Waco a mecca of sorts for clinical trials. But it all sounds so calculating and mercenary, at the expense of the populace.
