Status On Those For-Profit Clinics that Somervell County Hospital District has been operating OUTSIDE THE DISTRICT

Back in 5/2019 I wrote about how what Somervell County Hospital District (ie Glen Rose Medical Center) was doing operating clinics outside the district via I-35 Management company looked illegal as hell. The thing is, not only did it look illegal (like, WHY is a hospital district with defined boundaries operating for profit clinics all over the state without, say, jeoparcizing their tax status) but they weren't even making money. At one point, SCHD voted to quit the agreements for most of the clinics; they finally this last month voted to stop all of them EXCEPT for a radiology clinic they're still operating in Johnson County in Cleburne. (That is, of course, besides the long standing clinic they operate in Hood County's Hospital District which looks ililegal also).

If Somervell County Hospital District wants to act like they're a for-profit hospital by operating for-profit clinics outside the district, why don't they dissolve the district????
