It's no wonder that Trump's favorability polls just can't seem to get past 50 percent. Decent people want little or nothing to do with him. Here's what's been going on in case you have been in a soundproof building with no computers or teevee
This started by a tweet of Trumps on July 14.
“So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter, “now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run.” “Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done.”
there are some obvious problems about this. All 4 of these women are elected congresswomen, 3 of them were born in this country and the 4th is a naturalized citizen. Trump says they *originally* came from counties whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe"-is he referring to the United States?". Then this idiot tweets that these congressomen should "go back".
Trump got ugly at a campaign rally this last week and started spouting lies about these congresswomen. At some point some in the audience started chanting "Send her back". Did Trump stop them or say anything? nope.

Trump was asked why didn't you stop them? He said I started speaking very quickly. WATCH THE VIDEO. NO HE DID NOT. "I didn't like that they did it". Again, he didn't start talking quickly, he did and said NOTHING but looks like he was basking in the crowd being bigoted. It just amazes me that there is video evidence of this but he just out and out lies.
But by the next day Trump went back to being a dirtbag.
And Trump, who is known to be a liar, lied repeatedly about what these congresswomen said. Why is he lying? He knows that a lof of the cult people who follow him will not check to see if it's 1 or don't care because it gives them an excuse to be racist or bigoted themselves.
If he feels like the action to take is "Love it or leave it" why hasn't he left himself already. Even Make America Great Again implies America isn't great now. It's as American as apple pie to be able to use our freedom of speech to complain or laud America. Oh, he wants to take freedom of speech away from citizens, unless it's HIM saying crap
Trump said Friday that criticism of the United States is unacceptable and that the four congresswomen “can’t get away with” it.
“I can tell you this, you can’t talk that way about our country, not when I’m the president,” he told reporters outside the White House.
Every American has the right of free speech under the First Amendment of the Constitution, a reporter pointed out — and the president acknowledged that.
“We have First Amendment rights also — we can . . . say what we want,” Trump said. It was unclear who he was referring to as “we.”
Q Mr. President, (inaudible) political feud that you’re having with Congresswoman Omar and the rest of those Democrats, is it a good thing politically for you? Or do you think it turns people off?
THE PRESIDENT: I don’t know if it’s good or bad politically. I don’t care. But when people are speaking so badly, when they call our country “garbage” — think of that. That’s worse than “deplorable.” When they call our country “garbage,” I don’t care about politics. I don’t care if it’s good or bad about politics. Many people say it’s good. I don’t know if it’s good or bad. I can tell you this: You can’t talk that way about our country, not when I’m the President.
Uh. Trump is lying. They didn't call the country garbage. Look it up.
So I think they’ve said horrible things, and they’re anti-Semitic. And if you look at the kind of statements they’ve made about Israel, it’s a disgrace.
Q Mr. President, they have a First Amendment right to say what they want about our country. That’s what the Constitution guarantees. Do you see not agreeing with you as the same thing as hating the country, sir?
THE PRESIDENT: Yeah, they have First Amendment rights but that doesn’t mean I’m happy about them saying. And when they say bad things about us, we can certainly feel — and again, we have First Amendment rights also — we can certainly feel what and say what we want.
Guess what, he may not like what other people who aren't up his ass say, but being AMERICAN CITIZENS they can say it. And nobody has to leave the country in order to criticize or Trump would have been escorted out of the country long ago.
