I've been loathe to talk about the whole camel toe issue (men may not know what this is but women sure do) because it's vulgar. However, it is an integral part of the answer of Shelly Turk to Ray Reynolds and Somervell County Hospital District's Motion for Summary Judgment, available for anyone to read via Pacer. In following along with the case, which will, at this point, be going to a jury trial in December 2017, I want to lay out a few things about camel toe.First up, one of the things that Shelly Turk alleges in her filing from October 2017 is that her firing came "just moments after Donna Miller Directed Her to Contact the Somervell County Salon and Ask to Remove Information". I wrote about this in March. My personal opinion is that it looks like had somehow Turk been able to remove information from MY blog (she can't) , she might have been kept on, since it's the first thing that was brought up to her, but HR had a fallback position-The Dreaded Cameltoe Joke. Full disclosure. I, as a female, have made cametoe jokes, but not often because it's kind of gross.
Before you start reading this, let me assure you that this is more than you expect and you will definitely be feasting at the buffet table of Talking About Camel Toe.
Shelley is brought in, and after the attempt to get HER to remove stuff from MY website, the subject of cameltoe is brought up
From Shelly Turk's deposition
From LaDonna Green's deposition
.From Donna Miller's deposition re:use of the word cameltoe, by Turk, from Liz Morgan (who, as we remember, pled guilty to embezzling over 55,000 from a church) (Note, corrected where it originally said Donna Anderson)
From Donna Anderson's sworn declaration.
Another person that worked for the hospital at that time was asked if she ever used the word cameltoe. Learned that the hospital was making a list of everyone that called Van Zandt a camel toe.
