I wrote the other day about some issues I have (and others share) about vehicle safety at Fossil Rim. Talked to John Curtis, who is Somervell County Commissioner for Precinct 2. Today he told me that the county is going to have a sign put up right before Hwy 67 on CR 2008 which will show the speed limit and to exercise caution since it's a highway (I don't know the exact wording). Also, he told me that Fossil Rim is going to put up a stop sign on THEIR property. Had also suggested that maybe they could put up road lines for these people who drive down the middle of the road, but the cost of that would have been quite large. 

I am really happy about this and think Curtis should be congratulated (as I am) for his quick action to resolve what really has been an untenable situation.
