Noticed on the agenda for the regular board meeting for April 27, 2017 at 7:00 pm that one of the entries is

Executive Closed Session

a. The Board will meet in closed session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE to hear report from its attorney, either in person or by telephone, regarding pending litigation.

WHICH pending litigation might that be? Wonder if this has anything to do with the TURK case, in which the Turks are suing Ray Reynolds and the Somervell County Hospital District board re: freedom of speech issues when they spoke up about safety issues with Glen Rose Medical Center. Was this something that someone on the board requested or is there something going on behind the scenes with litigation that the attorney, on his own, wanted to brief them about? Alas, it's a closed session, so we cannot know; if it's not about the Turks, are there other pending lawsuits against the district?
