Have said before that I don't understand why Dr Vacek is even on the Somervell County Hospital District board, sure looks unethical. However, he does provide some unintentional hilarity (The Gift That Keeps On Giving).  Reed, the hospital attorney, first said "I don't think the physicians, when they're employed by the 501a, I don't think they think that's different than being employed by the hospital. I think from a physician's standpoint that they think we're all in this together, we're employed by the system.". Vacek: "I think that's fair to say. I think there's a subtlety to being separate but together as opposed to just another employee. Just another employee does not work well for professionals. .. Take any profession, being just another employee does not work well when you put in time, effort and the schooling and additional training, to be lumped in with everybody else in the world, that won't work well."

hahah. Because Even If You are a Trained Employee, Vacek sees himself as above you and does NOT want to be lumped in with you.

That type of mindset explains this thing he said back in July 2016 or that it costs extra money for his expensive house.
