While listening to the Somervell County Hospital District board meeting from Sep 29, 2016, had to laugh at what one employee said about the board that was elected to serve from 2014-2015.  Not sure who this was, she's off camera but she said

As employees, we're very proud of the hospital and work very hard, and we had no choice but to just suck it up and deal with the board that we had. We didn't get a choice, other than voting

Hello! That's how democracy works! You don't always get a choice in who is going to be elected and serve. You may not agree with all of them, but if they legally get enough votes to serve on a board, yes, you have to suck it up. And that's how it works also with a public hospital, that is supported by taxpayer money. If a person doesn't want to work for a public hospital, with a board elected from those who decided to run, and were voted in, that person, because he or she HAS A CHOICE, can go get a different job. Perhaps find a 3rd party for profit hospital like Lake Granbury Medical Center (CHS). 

Anyway, can't really feel sorry for this person. I didn't vote for George Bush when he was elected president. I had to suck it up and think that, in America, this is how the founding fathers chose to create and run our government, in order that one faction or another would not gain 100 percent control. At the state level, I didn't vote for Sid Miller, and yet he is now agriculture commissioner. I think he's a nut. I have to suck it up. I also don't like either Trump not Clinton so my CHOICE is to vote for Jill Stein. If one or the other two wins, I will just flat have to SUCK IT UP.  It's really nothing to whine about, except we all get to voice our opinions about what we think about our elected officials, whether we agree with every single one or not.
