The Luminant-Somervell CAD Settlement Process (10/13/2016)

Spoke with Wes Rollen this morning. As the Glen Rose Reporter noted the other day, there is a settlement agreement for the appraisal value of Luminant, both for 2015 and 2016.  The settlement is not official yet. What has to happen?

Somervell CAD filed a vacate motion in the 10th court of appeals

The appeals court will sign and send back to 18th District Court in Somervell County

Judge Neill will rule on this after appropriate motions filed.

Luminant had also filed a lawsuit re: 2016. This suit also is included in the settlement and will be vacated, but cannot be until after January 2017.

Apparently the decided up settlement appraisal amount  is approximately the same as revenue gross from 2014. My comment is: Assuming this is 1, if this turns out to be the case when the last judgement is signed, what was the point of all this lawsuit business in the first place?
